Manuel R. "Mac" Galimore age 75, a resident of the Pine Level Community passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held from Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Saturday, December 28, 2019 beginning at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ben Amlong and Rev. Olan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Level Community Cemetery with Hayes Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Saturday, December 28th, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Pine Level Cemetery Fund, c/o Carol Wilson 1055 N. Claxton, Ave. Elba, Alabama 36323.

Mac owned and operated Brundidge Wood Products for many years, before working with Baldwin Paving Company where he retired as a supervisor after many dedicated years of service. Upon retirement he returned to the Pine Level community to catch up on his "honey do" list. He always found happiness operating a piece of equipment, whether it be a bulldozer, backhoe, or making laps around the yard on his mower. His greatest contentment however, came when he was surrounded by his family.

Mr. Galimore leaves behind his wife Wife - Diann Bryan Galimore, Elba, AL, Son - Warren (April) Galimore, Springhill, AL, Daughter - Stacy (Travis) Marsh, Troy, AL, and Son - Todd Galimore of Elba, AL. He also leaves behind Granddaughter - Brittany (Jace) Colley, Troy, AL, Grandson - Hunter (Shelby) Bass, Troy, AL, Grandson - Brody Marsh, Troy, AL, Grandson - Layne Galimore, Springhill, AL, Grandson - Kolby Galimore, Troy, AL, Grandson - Gage Galimore, Andalusia, AL, Grandson - Ashton Galimore, Andalusia, AL, Granddaughter - Presley Galimore, Andalusia, AL, along with Great Granddaughter - Elizabeth Colley, Troy, AL, Great Grandson - Jackson Bass, Troy, AL, and a Sister - Lynda Galimore (Joe) Flowers of Dothan, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willodene Nelson Galimore, and Wilmer Galimore, along with a sister Brenda Galimore Ethridge, and a brother Wilmer Lamar Galimore.
