Mrs. Margaret Ann Harrell Irwin, 68, a resident of Cottonwood, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Southeast Health.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tony Deese officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Dothan directing. Burial will follow in Howard Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 am until 10:45 am prior to services at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted.

Margaret Ann was born July 5, 1953, in Dothan daughter of the late Clarence Lee Harrell and Johnnie Mae Hall Harrell. She was a lifelong resident of Cottonwood and worked as a machine operator at General Cigar for 15 years. Mrs. Irwin loved fishing and attending softball, baseball, and football games with her family, especially watching Alabama Football.  She was of Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Charles and Bill Harrell, and two sisters, Delores Armstrong and Ruth Brownlee.

Survivors include her Loving Husband of 53 years, Johnny Irwin; two daughters, Shannon Algarin (David) and Krystal Hart (Jeff) all of Cottonwood; three grandchildren, Jacob Algarin, Cottonwood; Taylor Hart ( Sarah), Hartford; Jacey Algarin (Cody Weeks), Cottonwood; great-grandson, Lincoln Hart, Hartford; sister, Sheila Brown (Randy), Headland; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Jacob Algarin, Taylor Hart, Andrew McGee, Cody Weeks, Kade Deese, and Caleb Adams.
