            Mrs. Margaret Bird Ridgway of Enterprise, AL passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Enterprise.  She was 88.

            A funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 5 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Gregory Okorobia and Father Patrick Maher officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise on Sunday, March 4 from 2 until 4 pm, with a rosary being said at 3 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the building fund at St. John Catholic Church in Enterprise.

            Mrs. Ridgway was born September 19, 1923 in Waco, Texas to the late Raymond C. and Margaret Radley Bird.  She was a member of the Azelea Garden Club and a member of the Ladies’ Guild at St. John Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Paul G. Ridgway.

            Survivors include her daughter, Paula Ridgway of Enterprise and a sister, Annette Squier of Marshall, TX.
