Margaret Dorriety Shepard of Hartford passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 in Flowers Hospital. She was 86.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Bro. Chris Kroll officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

 

The family request that no flowers be sent and that donations be made to Hartford Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Shepard; her parents, Willie and Odell Dorriety; her brother, Harold Dorriety.

 

Survivors include her son, Bill (Cheryle) Shepard; her daughter, Mary (David) Windham; three grandsons, Brett Shepard, James (Deanna) Windham, and Wes Windham; six great-grandchildren.
