Margene Edwards of Cottonwood died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at her residence. She was 84.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ricky Plummer officiating.

Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park Cemetery in Tuscaloosa, AL; Monday, July 9, 2012, at 1 P.M.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 12 to 2 P.M. Sunday, July 8, 2012. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by her parents, Vester Alexander Hannah and Willie Ora Brown Hannah, and her husband, Robert C. Edwards, Sr.

 

Survivors include sons, Clay Edwards and his wife, Deedra of Dothan; Mark Edwards and his wife, Lynda of Jackson, SC; grandchildren, Felicia Popp, Amy Brewer, Alex and Adam Edwards, Austin Hathcock, Ross and Joseph Blythe, and four great-grandchildren.
