Margie Goins Brown of Roswell, GA formerly of Atlanta, GA passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. She was 83.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Union Grove Baptist Church, 515 Coppinville Road, Enterprise, AL 36330.  Facial masks and social distancing will be required to attend this service.

Margie was born in Tifton, GA on December 12, 1937 to the late Shade Sr. and Maxie Lee Goins.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Shade Goins, Jr. and great-grandson, Izell Williams.  She was a founding member of Christ Community AME Church in Clarkston, GA. 

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Ross (Richard) of Bonaire, GA, Geri Brown (Willie) of Atlanta, GA and Alfredia Williams (Joseph) of Smyrna, DE; brothers, James Mack Goins (Leila) of Miami, FL and Carl Lewis Goins of Tifton, GA; sisters, Frances Davis of Houston, TX and Lindra Goins Burks of Tifton, GA; grandchildren, Maurice (Lekia), Shedrick, Richard III, Courtney, Drahcir (Troy), Joannie, Willie, Jr., Chad and Joseph, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Aniya, Chastity, Gabrielle, Camille, Willow, Hazel, DJ, Elijah, Isaiah, MJ and Hugo; and special family by love, Andrew, Mary Helen, Mary Elston, Gardner and Madeline Heaner; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
