Margie Jeanette Smith of Bonifay, FL passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 80 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Roger Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Jeanette was born in Geneva, AL on February 21, 1943 to the late Jay and Rubye Curry Brown. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, J.R. and Kim Brown; one son-in-law, Bobby Newsom.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Rev. Clyde R. Smith of Bonifay, FL; one son, Quentin Smith (Susie) of Bonifay, FL; two daughters, Wendy Nolen (Ken) of Bonifay, FL, and Ellen Nicole Mitchell (Clay) of Graceville, FL; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Lillie Smith of Geneva, AL and Iris Smith (Jerry) of Bonifay, FL.
