DOTHAN. . Margie Nowning Brown, a resident of Dothan, died early Thursday morning, February 11, 2021, in a Dothan hospital. She was 60.


       Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 15, 2021, in the Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Avon,  with Pastor Doug MacCormack officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary in Headland. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed.


       Mrs. Brown was a native of Henry County but lived most of her lifetime in Dothan, daughter of the late Floyd Gordon Nowning and Maebelle German Nowning. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Fulford, two sisters, Ann Gilder and Peggy Hines and a brother, Stanley Earl Nowning.


       Surviving relatives include her husband, William Shelby Brown, a son, Jesse Wayne Fulford (Christyn), all of Dothan; several nieces and nephews.
