Margie Wright Sutton, 71, of Troy, Alabama passed away January 8th, 2021.

 Margie was a native of Samson, Alabama and was a member of the Samson High School Class of 1968. She was a charter member of the Gamma Sigma Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority at Troy State University. She is a member of Troy United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. After a 39 year career as the office manager at McConnell Honda in Montgomery, Al, Margie spent much of her retirement following Troy University and American Legion baseball around the Southeast.

 She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ron Sutton of Troy, Al; her daughter, Debbie (Mark) Wells and beloved grandson, Sutton of Helen, Al; her father, Henry Wright of Samson, Al; and her sister, Marie (Charles) Norrell of Mt. Juliet, TN; as well as numerous other family and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Wright of Samson, Al and her in-laws, Howard and Lillian Sutton of Molino, Fl.

 The funeral service will be held at Samson First United Methodist Church on Monday, January 11th @ 11am with Pastor Steve Wenton officiating. Visitation will take place 1 hour before the service @ 10am. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery on Hwy 87 in Samson, Al.

 Pallbearers are Sutton Wells, Mark Wells, Mark Day, Denny Labbe, Allen Faulk, Terry Newell, and John Rushing.

 A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 12th @ 11am at Troy First United Methodist Church on North Three Notch Street in Troy, Alabama.
