Maria Granberry, of Enterprise, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. She was 92.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Cliff Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until service time.

Maria was born July 6, 1929 in Austria to the late Georg and Maria Plessl. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Granberry; and son, Thomas J. Sullivan, Jr.

Survivors include five children: Judy Smith (Derek) of Enterprise, Eddie Sullivan (Shelia) of Troy, AL, Barry Sullivan (Nancy) of Panama City Beach, FL; Susan Campbell (Mike) of Mobile, AL, Sherion Stewart (Mike) of Black, AL; grandchildren: Jonathan Sullivan, Jamie Ray, Kristopher Sullivan, Julie Borrelli, Amanda Martin, Thomas Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan, Amy Berry, Jessica Elder, Kaitlin Smith, Joseph Smith, Nicole Stewart, Alyse Smith, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
