Marie Elaine Money Cullifer of Geneva, AL passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 76 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Sellersville Assembly of God Church with Rev. Johnny Trim and Rev. Wendell Ard officiating. Burial will follow in the Samson First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Marie was born in Samson, AL on July 5, 1945 to the late Marvie D. and Margaret Elizabeth Jordan Money. She proudly taught for 15 years at Geneva Head Start. In her spare time, she enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Marie will be remembered as a hardworking woman who took great care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Kevin Cullifer; mother-in-law, Vivian Motley; and one daughter-in-law, Donna Cullifer.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Ellis Wendell Cullifer; children, Norman Cullifer, Stanley Cullifer (Diane), Angie Lewis (Tim), and Stevie Cullifer (Jane); grandchildren, Amber Cullifer, Tina Langford, Nathan Jones, Bekki Lewis (Trey), Trey McDuffie (Bethany), Blake Cullifer (Conner), and Joannie Anschutz (Richard); great-grandchildren, Summer, Junior, Brandon, Emily, Cory, Gavin, Annabelle, Addilynn, Danni, Anna, and Carter; one sister, Wanda Shortt (Allen) of Mobile, AL.

Serving as pallbearers will be Trey McDuffie, Trey Lewis, Louie Miller, Cody Miller, Walter Denning, and Marshall Roberts.
