Obituary: Marilyn Hornsby Smith 

Mrs. Marilyn Hornsby Smith of Enterprise passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 in the Flowers hospital. She was 68. 

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday from the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb.  Burial will follow in the Christian Home Baptist Church cemetery.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00am and continuing until service time.  

Mrs. Smith was born July 23, 1943 in Hartford to the late George and Bernice Martin Hornsby. She had worked as an admission clerk with Flowers hospital and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Slocomb. Her brothers Edsel Hornsby and Ralph Hornsby preceded her in death.  

Survivors include 2 daughters: Tracy Bowman (Michael), Daleville, Al, Crystal Lamb (Jonathon), Enterprise, Al,  1 son: Scott Smith (Amanda), Birmingham, Al, sister: Barbara Hollis, Dothan, Al, grandchildren: Adam Bowman, Andrew Smith, Caleb Cochran, Taylor Cochran, Noah Cochran and Katie Lamb.
