Marjorie Bernhard Applegate

Marjorie Bernhard Applegate, a resident of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at her residence. She was 81.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at the First Assembly of God Church in Dothan, with Rev. Myrice McNab and Bob Rivers officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. CDT in Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 a.m. Friday until service time.

Mrs. Applegate was preceded in death by her husband, Loyal Lon Applegate.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
