Martha Ann Roberts Rogers, a resident of Cusseta, Alabama passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. She was 79 years old.

 

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Glover Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula, Alabama with Pastor Bill Bryan and Pastor Brad Hamby officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Eufaula directing, burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Martha was born June 27, 1943, in Headland, Alabama to the late Daniel Marvette and Nellie B. Gray Roberts. She worked for many years as a seamstress at West Point-Pepperell in Abbeville. She enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, cooking, and watching Hallmark movies but most of all loved her family and spending time with them. She was a member of Restoration Church in Opelika, Alabama.

 

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Ralph William Rogers; two sisters, Barb Creech and Helen Stevens.

 

Left to cherish her memories are son, William Rogers of Azusa, CA; two daughters, Sylvia Brooks of Cusseta, AL and Mary Hale (Robert) of Cusseta, AL; five brothers, Danny Roberts (Diane) of Eufaula, Teddy Ray Roberts (Elaine) of Eufaula, Michael Roberts (Barbara) of Coolidge, GA, Greg Roberts (Faye) of Nashville, GA and Ricky Roberts (Seretha) of Carnesville, GA; sister, Shirley Hadley (Wilburn) of Bay Minette, AL; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

 

Asked to serve as pallbearers are Ricky Roberts, John Roberts, Lee Roberts, Davis Ray Roberts, Allen Blackburn, and Donnie Leger.
