Marvin loved to fish and enjoyed taking his son and nephews fishing and boating.  Marvin was known for his cooking skills and took pride in cooking for family and friends.  Marvin was a helper and a friend to everyone.  He enjoyed being with his family and was known for being a jokester, always laughing.  Marvin enjoyed the friendships of his fellow firefighters both in and outside of work and many became life-long friends.

He is survived by his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Mason and Katy Ziglar, a former wife of 25 years, Cindy (Baker) Ziglar and a loving companion, Mary Freed.  He is also survived by his mom, Mildred (Sanders) Ziglar; three sisters, Bonnie (Danny) Sanders; Barbara (Mark) Goodson; Dorothy (Paul) Bechtold; one brother, Herman Sax Ziglar; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank everyone at Flowers Hospital, DaVita Dialysis Clinic, Baker Hill Rescue Squad and those who visited, called or sent cards during this time.
