Mrs. Mary Agnes Driggers Weeks of Geneva, AL passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was 94.

A private family graveside service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church cemetery will Rev. Red Coleman officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing, with burial following the service.

Agnes was born January 23, 1928 in Geneva Co., AL to the late James Henry and Annie Vilettie Simmons Driggers. She, along with her husband, will be remembered most for owning and operating the Weeks Drive-In in Geneva for a number of years. She also owned and operated a lady’s dress shop, prior to her retirement. Agnes was a very active member of the Geneva Senior Citizen’s Center, where she enjoyed numerous trips, food, and fellowship with her friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Orell Weeks, one sister, Frances Beckham, two brothers, Brady Driggers and Rev. Grady Driggers.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Weeks, two grandsons, Christopher and Dustin Weeks, all of Geneva, AL; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive; three sisters, Margaret Pridgen and Peggy Warren (Bobby) all of Samson, AL, Jimmie Branch (Jerry) of Dothan, AL and a number of special nieces and nephews.
