Mary Ann McNees of Enterprise passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 78.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Pike Funeral Home in Bridgeman, Michigan. 

Mary Ann was born August 16, 1942 to the late Donald and Margaret Perlick.  She was preceded in death by sisters, Cora Littke (Ken) and Judy Perlick.  Mary Ann had such a love for her family and enjoyed being around people in general.  She was an avid reader, especially books by author Nora Roberts.  She loved to cook and made lots of delicious desserts but her specialty was rhubarb pie.  Mary Ann was well known for many years as the local Walmart door greeter.      

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, David McNees of Enterprise, AL; children, Wayne McNees (Sherry) of Jacksonville, FL, Scott McNees (Mary) of Charles Town, WV, and Terri McNees of Enterprise, AL; sister, Nora Drehman (John) of Daleville, AL, grandchildren:  Amanda Fox of Enterprise, AL, Taylor McNees of Orlando, FL, Matthew McNees of Jacksonville, FL, Corey McNees of Charles Town, WV, Chris McNees of Rockville, MD, Katie McNees of Charles Town, WV, Charles Clark (Jessica) of Huntsville, AL, Benjamin Clark (Chloe) of Huntsville, AL and Daniel Clark of Enterprise, AL; and great-grandchildren:  Eden Clark, Charlie Clark, Lincoln Clark and Laurel Fox. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary Ann’s memory to Special Olympics of Alabama, 880 South Court Street, Montgomery, AL  36104.
