Mary Ann Money

Mary Ann Money, age 73 of Dothan died unexpectedly Wednesday morning September 26, 2018 in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Angels on Woodland with the Reverend Kyle Robertson officiating and Family First Funeral Care directing.  Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery near Columbia.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. Saturday until service time.  Serving as active pallbearers will be Ricky Henderson, Austin Henderson, Tracy Henderson, Noah Phillips, Tracy Phillips, Steven Norton and JT McDaniel.  Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Deshawn Blackmon.

Mary was born in Blakely, Ga., daughter of the late Wilmer Roy Page and Rosa Frances Jones Page.  She moved to Dothan in 1971 where she lived the rest of her life.  Mary was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, an avid competitive bowler, loved the University of Alabama Football Team and the Atlanta Braves.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Money who died April 27, 2018.

Survivors include her four daughters Renee Lamb, Cindy (Jeff) Powell, Jeri (Alan) Del Rio and Taylor (Jacob) MacFadden all of Dothan, a sister Rosa Mae Hendrix of Dothan, eight grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a niece and nephew and her beloved pet Ellie Mae Money.
