Mary Phyllis Brown Hall of Geneva passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at her home. She was 81 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2019 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Jerry McAdams and Rev. Jay Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Hall was born October 26, 1937 to the late Buford Cliffton and Eva Leonia Shiver Brown. Mrs. Hall enjoyed watching sports, especially Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Rickey Edward Hall; one grandson, Bobby Wade Barnes; one brother, Hurtis Brown; two sisters, Diane May, and Margie Crawford.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, James E. “Bobby” Hall of Geneva; one daughter, Jackie Barnes (Bobby) of Geneva; two granddaughters, Chesley Wilks of Geneva, and Lindsey Sessions (Chad) of Geneva; four great-grandchildren, Dillon and Ethan Wilks, Emma and Everett Sessions, and baby Sessions on the way; two sisters, Glenda Faye Bowers, and Carolyn Taylor.
