MARY  ELLA  PEEPLES

 

WEBB. . .Mary Ella Peeples, a resident of Webb, died Wednesday night, August 15, 2012, at her home. She was 75.   

    

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, August 17, 2012, in the Webb Baptist Church with Dr. Matthew C. Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Friday in the church sanctuary.

 

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Webb Baptist Church, P.O. Box 70, Webb, AL 36376 or to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL. 36303.

 

            Mrs. Peeples was a long time resident of Webb where she was an active member of the Webb Baptist Church and formerly taught a children’s Sunday School class. In earlier years, she was active in the Webb P.T.A.

 

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Wyatt Glenn (Dick) Peeples, Webb; two daughters, Susiebell Peeples Lunamand and husband, Charles, Cropwell, AL; and Melissa Peeples Shiver, Thomasville, GA; three grandchildren, Charles Glenn Lunamand, Courtney Shiver and Christopher Shiver; a sister-in-law, Mary Lucille Bush, Dothan; several nieces and nephews.

 

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Heath Macko, Bobby Taylor, Greg Peeples, Gregg Thompson and the grandsons.

 

            The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Thomas Brown, the staff on the Oncology floor at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center and Covenant Hospice for their compassionate care.
