Mary Ellen Lewis Spivey of Lewis Leavins Road, Bonifay, Florida passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015.  She was 69.

Graveside services will be 9:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2015, at Union Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Benefield officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing. 

Ms. Spivey was born February 28, 1946, in Holmes County, Florida to the late John Thomas and Delilah Leavins Lewis.  She enjoyed fishing, working in her flower garden and walking in the woods with her dog.

In addition to her parents a son, Steven Spivey, two sisters: Mildred Darley and Viola Lewis, as well as three brothers: Columbus, John Chester and Carlton Lewis, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Paulesa Williams of Bonifay; seven grandchildren: Kelly Tinley, Kasey King, Kendall Walton, Kara Williams, Stephanie Spivey, Tembra Spivey and Stevie Spivey; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Curtis Oliver Lewis; one sister: Mary Catherine Leavins; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
