Mary Lee Keel of Midland City, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2021 at her home. She was 66 years old.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mary was born on November 3, 1955 in Blakely, Georgia. She traveled all over the United States with her family while her father worked as a seasonal farmer. Mary loved her family dearly and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed going to lake Eufaula with her family and spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Denmark; her mother, Jessie Merle Parks; and her siblings, Linda Johnson, Samuel Edward Denmark, Donna Sue, and Nora Warmouth.
Mary is survived by her husband of almost 51 years, Johnny Keel; her children, Laurie Keel (William Cox), Johnny Michael Keel (Nancy Fretwell), and Somer (Travis) Garritson; her 8 grandchildren, Brett Keel, Alexander Dupree (Wendy Junghans), Brandon Dupree, Makayla Keel, Christopher Keel, Skyla Hardin, Hunter Langford, and Trenton Garritson; and her soon-to-be great grandchildren, Anakin Junghans and Ambrose Dupree.
