            Mary Ruth Armstrong Kyles was born September 18, 1949 in Vicksburg, MS to the late Hamp and Mary Lee Watkins.  On Wednesday, April 11, 2012 her heavenly Father called her home.  She was 62 years old.

            Funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday, April 14 at Open Door Baptist Church with Rev. John McCrummen officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10 until 11 am.

            Mary accepted Christ in her life and she was very devoted to serving God.  Being a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church in New Orleans, she taught Sunday school and was a secretary.  But as faith had it, she relocated to Daleville in 2005 because of hurricane Katrina.  In 2005 she became a member of Open Door Baptist Church, where she was instrumental as a Sunday School teacher.  She also loved fishing, spending time with her family and friends, and quiet time reading her Bible.  Mary is preceded in death by her parents Hamp and Mary Lee Watkins, her husband Roosevelt Kyles, Jr., and a brother Lawrence Armstrong.

            Mary leaves her 2 daughters to cherish her memories:  Rosemary Kyles LeBlanc (Kenneth), Enterprise, AL, Angela Kyles Martin (Calvin), New Orleans, LA; 1 sister, Roberta Anderson, Vicksburg, MS; 6 grandchildren: Ronnel Kyles, Ventrus Kyles, Kenneth LeBlanc II, Calbreion Martin, Calverneisha Martin, Kelan LeBlanc; sisters- and brothers-in-law: Lela Johnson, Larry Kyles (Angela), Curtis Kyles, Brenda Jenkins (Samuel), Elizabeth Bougere (Anthony), Thomas Walker, Connie Carter (Quinell); 2 nieces, 4 nephews, a host of family and friends.
