Mary Sue Saunders Nolen of Westville, FL passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. She was 74 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with the Rev. Barry Joiner and Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Creek Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Sue was born in Geneva County, AL on July 18, 1949 to the late Will Roger and Ruby Lee Weeks Saunders. She was an avid flower gardener and an exquisite Southern cook. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending all the special events of her grandchildren. Sue loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church and spending time with her church family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Earl Nolen, and one brother, Roger Saunders.

She is survived by two sons, Ken E. Nolen (Wendy) of Bonifay, FL, and Chris K. Nolen (Mary Beth) of Westville, FL; two grandchildren, Samuel H. Nolen (Kaitlyn) of Slocomb, and Kinsleigh Nolen of Westville, FL; one sister, Patricia Ann Taylor (Joe) of Westville, FL; many special nieces, nephew, cousins, and a very special great niece.
