Mary Virginia Brewer Rials of Coffee Springs, AL passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at her home. She was 87 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Greg Laye and Rev. Lee Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Rials was born on July 22, 1934 to the late Gene Young and Lovie Barbaree Brewer. Mrs. Rials was the definition of a “farmer’s wife.” She worked alongside her late husband Andrew, farming chickens and row crop. She was also a very talented seamstress.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew R. “Bud” Rials; one son, Richard Rials; three sisters, Beulah Mathis, Barbara Jean Brewer, and Peggy Hand; three brothers, James “Man”, Titus, and Paul Brewer.

She is survived by three sons, Billy Joe (Janie) Rials, Michael “Mic” Rials, and Jack (Jackie) Rials all of Coffee Springs; one daughter-in-law, Ellen Rials of Coffee Springs; nine grandchildren, Virginia (Lee) Bogle of Murfreesboro, TN, JoMichael (Christy) Rials of Coffee Springs, Betsy Rials of Coffee Springs, Amanda Rials of Auburn, Molly Shepard of Jack, Shannon (John) Wolfe of Enterprise, Samantha Griffin of Troy, Wendy (Joe) Donafreo of Troy, Stephanie (Nicholas) Wright of Samson; ten great-grandchildren, Sam Bogle, Andy and Jacob Rials, Emma and Lauren Wolfe, Caleb and Tucker Muccio, Cailey, Sawyer, and Sophia Wright; two sisters, Norene Reeves and Ann Lydell; one brother, Young Gibson Brewer (Patty); and several nieces and nephews.
