Matthew Thomas Rosser, of Hartford, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. He was 36 years old.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence Rosser and Elma Rosser Hutto, along with his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Myrna Loy Sorrells.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Hartford Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Nathan Lawrence and Rev. Les Hughes officiating. Burial will take place in the Hartford City Cemetery with Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Barbara Rosser of Hartford; siblings, Beth (Nathan) Lawrence of Valley, Al and Adam (Melissa) Rosser of Wicksburg; nieces and nephews, Lane and Brooklyn Rosser, and Titus, Anna Beth, Rachel, Jase, and Laura Lawrence; Uncles, Tom (Deenie) Rosser of Dothan and Lamar Sorrells of Hueytown, Al; Aunt, Laura (Steve) Holland of Hartford; along with many beloved cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Matt's name.
