Mr. Max Otis Hines of Ariton passed away on August 30, 2020, in a Georgia hospital. He was 76.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020, (today), at Center Ridge Baptist Church (Hwy. 123, Ariton). The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Rev. Nelson Senn will officiate. Keahey Funeral Home of Clio is entrusted with arrangements.

He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Turner of Texas and sons, Richard Hines of Ariton and Randy Hines of Ozark; brother, Ray Hines of Ariton; grandchildren, Heaven Hines, Angelina Hines, Richard Hines Sr., Hayden Hines, Mason Hines, Tristan Turner, Easton Turner, and Braven Turner; and four great-grandchildren, Kylie Hines, Keeley Hines, Maddox Hines,  Michael Turner, and one on the way.

Mr. Hines worked as a tile installer during his working years. He will be greatly missed.
