Maxine McDonald, 86, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 in Flowers Hospital. She was born to the late Charles Kirksey and Lillie Mae Kirksey in Gordon, Alabama. 

Maxine was known for her free-spirited personality. One of her hobbies was to make people laugh, she was the life to any gathering or party. Maxine retired as an Administrator for the Federal Parks Services.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until 11 AM on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Memory Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons; Stephen Alexander and Philip Alexander: sisters: Faye Dukes and Geraldine Hall.
