Mr. Michael Gregory Hungerman of Hartford, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012. He was 49.


 


Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Bobby Enfinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Leddon Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time.


 


Mr. Hungerman was born August 8, 1963 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Earl Bernard and Delora Donley Hungerman.  He loved the Ohio Buckeyes and you would frequently hear him say, “Buckeye til I die”. Mr. Hungerman was employed at Slocomb Food Giant for 12 years.


 


Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Joann T. Hungerman of Hartford,  two daughters: Amber A. and Ashley M. Hungerman both of  Hartford;  three grandchildren: Alyssa and Quinton Hungerman, both of Black and Isabella Withers of Slocomb; one sister, Sandra Hungerman of Hartford; two brothers: George Andrew Hungerman of Slocomb and Earl Roger Hungerman (Aggie) of Palm Bay, FL; a very special niece, Stephanie Ann Hungerman of Slocomb and a very special nephew, George Andrew Hungerman Jr. of Slocomb.
