Mr. Michael Anthony Grimes, a resident of Clayton, Alabama passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 21, 2022, at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab in Fort Gaines, Georgia. He was 65 years old.

Graveside services with military honors will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. (CST) at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama with a military chaplain officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing. Flowers will be accepted. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the service at Glover Funeral Home in Clayton, Alabama.

Mr. Michael was born December 1, 1956, in Sandusky, Ohio to the late John Grimes and Donna Tolliver. He enjoyed sitting on his porch and drinking coffee. He loved listening to classic rock and roll music, taking care of his dog, playing dominoes and spending time with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and three sisters.

Left to cherish his memories are two brothers, James Grimes of Vickery, OH, Kenneth Grimes (Teresa) of Mansfield, OH; sister, Dixie Rexroth (Donald) of Fremont, OH; very special friends, Sabrina Hagler, Kimberly Wynn, Matthew Hagler, Tanner Wood, and Amber Hagler.
