Michael R. Morgan

Michael R. Morgan, age 68 of Dothan, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 3, 2021, at his home.

Michael was born on August 27, 1952, in Birmingham to the late John T. Morgan, Sr. and Doris P. Morgan. Most of his life was spent in Birmingham until he moved to Dothan in February of 2019.  He loved coaching and watching sports. His favorite thing to do was to watch his grandkids play sports. He enjoyed fishing with his family and is lovingly remembered as the “Bassmaster.” He was a devoted husband, daddy, and G-Daddy who worked diligently to provide for his family.  He longed to be reunited with the love of his life, Linda, who went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2020.  He is now with her again worshipping Jesus in heaven.  

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Morgan, of 49 years.  Survivors include his children, Michele Redmond (Seth) of Dothan, Jeff Morgan (Meredith) of Oneonta, and Jenny Nicholson (Dan) of Dothan, and his ten grandchildren that will miss him very much, Mallory, Maggy, Cheyanne, Molli, Jake, Caleb, Izabella, Jay, Ainsley, and Luke.  Mike is also survived by his brothers, John Morgan, Buddy Morgan, and Paul Morgan.
