     Michael S. Watson of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his home. He was 65.

     Michael played tennis for Carroll High School and Troy University, where he helped the Trojans make it to the Nationals all 4 years he was there.  

     After graduation he worked for the City of Dothan in business licensing and

tax collection until he could no longer resist the need to return to the courts.  He went on to work as a professional tennis instructor at di?erent locations in the Wiregrass for 40 years.  Coach Mike helped hundreds of people of all

ages learn and improve playing the sport of tennis. Many times he taught multiple generations in the same families.  

     He was preceded in death by his parents Randolph and Virginia Watson. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Thomas Hastings of Ozark.  There are no services scheduled at this time.  In lieu of ?owers, the family asks that friends play some tennis or help someone else learn to play.
