OZARK…. Michael Steven Attaway, a resident of Ozark, died early Friday evening, March 22, 2019 in Dale Medical Center. He was 33.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel with Pastor Matthew Sasser officiating. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

            Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to, Ozark First Assembly of God Church, 170 Country Club Drive, Ozark, Alabama 36360.

            Michael was a native Ozark and was a 2004 Graduate of Carroll High School. He attended Ozark First Assembly of God Church. Michael was preceded in death by his father, George Waits.

            Surviving relatives include his mother, Pauline Waits; parents, Jerry and Valeria Leatherwood Attaway, Ozark; his grandparents, Richmond and Nancy Waits, Orlando, FL; two aunts, Mary Waits and Christy Woodruff; his uncle, Buddy Leatherwood; several cousins, nieces, nephews including a special niece, Tami Reboul.
