Michael Stone Arnold, age 71, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, October 26, 2018 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tonya Elmore and Rev. Billy Lutrell officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mike served in the Army for 3 years and spent one year in Vietnam.  He came home and dedicated his life to service.  He was a special needs teacher at Hillcrest, an assistant principal at Enterprise High School for 9 years and then principal at Rucker Blvd.  He dedicated the rest of his life serving his church and volunteering throughout the community.  He was man of great faith, strong character, and quick wit.  He loved his family and had a heart for serving the Lord. 

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Arnold, his mother and father, George Richard Arnold and Florence Stone Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Breckenridge Arnold, Enterprise, AL; three children, Amy Arnold Rasmussen (Niel) Headland, AL; Captain (USN) George Richard Arnold II (Robbin) Springfield, VA; Margery Arnold Zimmerman (Ellington) Enterprise, AL; six grandchildren, Haley Nicole Rasmussen; Megan Renee Rasmussen; Marie Lizbeth Rasmussen; Michael Stone Arnold II; Hosana Toussiant Zimmerman; Enoch Rudo Zimmerman.
