Michael Travis Wise of Samson, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in a Dothan Hospital. He was 66 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Samson with Rev. Sam Totten officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Mike was born in Ft. Rucker, AL on September 11, 1953 to Euna Faye Quiller Wise and the late Travis Wise.  Mike enjoyed farming, cooking, and fishing at the falls. He was an active member of the Young Farmers Association for over 40 years. Mike never met a stranger and will be missed by all that knew him.

Mike is survived by one son, Zac Wise of Samson, AL; mother, Euna Faye Wise of Samson, AL; special friend and companion, Mona Mock of Samson, AL; Mona’s children, Justin Mock (Mindy) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Jordy Mock of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Aubrey, Aleigh, and Ashley; two brothers, Jerry Wise of Samson, and Keith Wise (Gina) of Samson; special nieces and nephews, Laura Tinsley (Henson), Dustin Wise (Amy), and Melanie Adkison (Jeffery); and also eight great nieces and nephews.
