OZARK…. Mrs. Michelle Smith Potter, a resident of Ozark, died Saturday morning, November 14, 2020 in a Dothan hospital. She was 52.


            Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 21, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Damon Wilson officiating and a eulogy to be given by Vince Barranco. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.


            Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 4150 Carmichael Court, Montgomery, Alabama 36106.


            Mrs. Potter, daughter of the late Billy Ray Smith and Becky Marie Fulford Smith, was a native and lifelong resident of Ozark. She was a 1986 Graduate of Carroll High School. Mrs. Potter was formerly employed with Our Place Diner in Ozark. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Smith.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Paul Potter, Ozark; her children, Jennifer Barranco (Vince), Skipperville, Shelby Smith (Daniel), and Dalton Potter, all of Ozark; brother, Larry Smith, Ozark; sister-in-law, Sherry Smith, Skipperville; grandchildren, Braxton Barranco, Peyton Barranco, Easton Barranco, Colby Massey, Chris Baker, Nala Carter, Layla Carter, Kamiron Massey, Christian Massey, and Karleigh Massey; several special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be Paul Potter Dalton Potter, Josh Smith, Hunter Whitehead, Jaxon Whitehead, Brayden Whitehead, and Kamiron Massey.
