Mickey Lewie Watkins age 73 of Cowarts AL passed away Wednesday January 6 2021 following a brief illness.

Private service will be held at a later date.

Born May 18, 1947 in Eufaula Alabama. He was the son of Sam Watkins and Evelyn Thomas Watkins. He was a graduate of Eufaula High School and moved to Dothan in 1968. He meet the love of his life in 1969, Elizabeth Glass. They were married June 19, 1970. He was a retired carpenter. Mickey was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mickey is survived by his loving wife Liz Watkins, Daughter Wendy Parker and husband James; Sisters, Peggy Fiquett, Phenix City AL, Martha Crawford (Larry), Dothan AL; Brother in-law, James Glass (Sherry), Dothan AL; Grandson, Chance Parker; Great grandson Leon Parker; And a special nephew, Greg Fiquett (Chandra), Phenix City AL. A host of loving nephews and nieces also survived.

Mickey loved being with his family and watching football. His family and friends will always remember him as being a loving, kind, and sincere man.
