Mr. Mike Ezell of Geneva, Alabama passed away August 22, 2022, at the age of 67.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Baine and Minister Harry O. Adkison officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m.

 Mike was born March 02, 1955 to Jeanette Fleming Ezell and the late James Rex Ezell. He was a graduate of Samson High School, where he excelled in sports, especially baseball and tennis. He was a coach of several softball leagues throughout his earlier years. Mike loved sports of all kinds, but Alabama Crimson Tide football will never have a more devoted and knowledgeable fan. Prior to his illness, Mike owned and operated Ezell’s Jewelry, where he worked hard to please his customers and create lasting memories through jewelry masterpieces.

 In addition to his father, Mike was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Ezell.

 Mike is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Jana Erlandson Ezell; son, Sean Ezell; stepson; William Simmons (Katie Bowers) all of Geneva, AL; stepdaughter, Hanna Simmons Waldner (Ben) of Coffee Springs, AL; five grandchildren, Audry and Wyatt Ezell of Andalusia, AL, Lyla and Sadie Simmons of Geneva, AL and Ruthie Waldner of Coffee Springs, AL, his mother, Mrs. Jeanette Fleming Ezell of Kinston, AL, one brother, Max Ezell (Pam) of Dothan, AL.

 The family would like to extend a special thanks to Maple Avenue Baptist Church for your love, devotion and prayers; Dr. John F. Simmons, Sr. and staff for your excellent care and attention and Enhabit Home Health for your dedicated service to Mike.
