Mildred Ward of Darlington, Florida passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the age of 86.

 Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2019 at the Darlington Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Joiner officiating.  She will be placed in the church one hour before service time.  Burial will follow in the Limestone Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, Alabama directing.  Visitation will be Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

 Mildred was born January 14, 1933 to the late Perry Wiley and Sallie Blair Gay in Geneva County Alabama.  She was a member of the Darlington Baptist Church.  She loved her church and her church family.  She was a member of the Pilot Club.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Daniel Bradley, Adoffious Ward and Carl Allen; brothers: L.P. Gay and Chester Gay of Enterprise, AL.; sisters: Lera Cassidy and Dollie Pilcher of Panama City, FL.; Margaret Webb; Crestview, FL; Edith Windham and Bonnie Martin of Geneva, AL.

 She is survived by her stepson; Frank Ward, Darlington, FL and a special niece; Sue Wills of Panama City, FL; numerous of nieces and nephews.

 Serving as pallbearers will be: Ted Pryor, Jamie Ward, Jerry Nelson, Wayne Pettis, Gene Willis, Johnny Pilcher and Ricky Windham.
