Milton Fred “Bud” Sewell of Elba passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at his home. He was 78 years old.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019 at New Life Baptist Assembly of Alberton (Kinston, AL) with Rev. James Hataway officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Mr. Sewell was born in Crawfordsville, IN on October 12, 1940 to the late Charles and Mary Alexander Sewell. Mr. Sewell was an avid gardener. He especially enjoyed working with his flowers, and in his yards.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Peggy Evans Sewell of Elba; his children, Michael Sewell of Kansas, Terria Chandler (Eugene) of Indianapolis, IN, Debbie Kelly (Charles) of Opp, Vickie Crawford (Monty) of Groveland, FL, Lee Jones (Kathy) of Jacksonville, NC, and Sheila Donaldson (Alvin) of Elba; 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Connie Linker of Clinton, IN; and one brother, Larry Sewell of Crawfordsville, IN.
