Miss Andrea Michelle Platt of Geneva, Alabama went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, November 8, 2012.  She was 18.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 11, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 10, from 6 until 8 p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Andrea’s Memory, 2744 W. Magnolia Ave., Geneva, AL 36340.

 

Andrea was born October 28, 1994, in Montgomery, Alabama.  Andrea had a sweet spirit about her and was loved by everyone.  Her smile was contagious.

 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patricia Plummer, Shirley and William Hudson, Mason and Sarah Lucille Lee, as well as two cousins, Josh Warnick and Dalton McAdams.

 

 

Survivors include her mother, Christine Platt; father, Micheal Plummer; step father, Lorenzo Murphy; brother, Austin Dunlap; step father, Gary Brent Dunlap; grandparents: Barbara and Bob Casterlin, Ken and Diana Platt, Mamie and Sam Smith, Peter Jr. and Myrtle Bridges; aunts and uncles: Billy Hudson (Lynn), Angie Bogan (Ken), Janice Platt (Michael), Stephanie Hornsby (Jeff), Reggie Platt, Tanya Plummer, Mona Smith, Broderick, Abraham “Jack”, Michael and Wanda Jean Murphy; great aunts and uncles: James Hudson, Gloria Gschwender, Pattie Taylor, Kevin Hudson (Sherry), Sharon Dumont (Jim) and Tammy Creech (Timothy); other extended family and friends.
