   Miss Diane Christine Koenig, a resident of Ozark, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023. She was 53 years old. 

   Funeral services for Miss Koenig will be 4:00 P.M. Friday, December 1, 2023, from Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Michael Lawler officiating.

   Interment will be at a later date in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Friday in the church from 3:00 P.M. until service time.

   Miss Koenig was born January 22, 1970 in Fairbanks, Alaska to Helga Droeser Koenig the late Ronald E. Koenig. She was a student of Vivian B. Adams School in Ozark. Diane was a photographer who loved art, coloring and decorating. She was an avid Alabama fan and loved her fur baby, Prissey.

   She is survived by her mother, Helga Koenig of Ozark; and her brother, Erik Koenig (Nicole) of Huntsville, Alabama.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vivian B. Adams School, 2047 Stuart Tarter Road, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
