Miss Julie Amanda Tharpe, 47, of Skipperville, died Monday, July 15, 2019.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 20, 2019,   from Skipperville United Methodist Church with Reverend Bradley Chamblee and Reverend Freddie McCain officiating. Interment will follow in Skipperville Community Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home in Ozark from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Amanda was born March 17, 1972 in Ozark, Alabama. She was a life-long resident of Skipperville where she graduated from G. W. Long High School in 1990.  She worked with The Commercial Bank in Ozark for the past twenty-six years.  Amanda was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed going to NASCAR Races.

Survivors include her parents, Mack and Judy Johnson Tharpe; her grandmother, Dot Johnson; aunts and uncles, Rodney and Karen Johnson, Jerry and Dianne Tharpe all of Skipperville; cousins, Brittany (Lee) Peters, Trae (Jessie) Johnson, Michelle (Phillip) Baxter, Denise Tharpe, Danielle (Craig) Pylant, Kirstin Johnson, Bryson Sanders, Brynlee and Briella Peters.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Skipperville Community Cemetery Fund, C/O  Mrs. Faye Huey, 3489 County Road 50, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
