Mistie Strickland Knoebel of New Brockton passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021.  She was 37. 

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Joe Farris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at the New Brockton City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. 

Mistie was born June 22, 1983, in Enterprise, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Travis and Nellie Smith, and Oniel and Joann Strickland. 

She loved to cook, sing, and watch her children play sports.  Her faith was very important to her, and she loved her family more than anything. 

Survivors include her husband, Ian Knoebel; her children, Alexander Knoebel, Bryson Knoebel, Kayden Stanford, and Hayden Stanford; her parents, Ricky and Deronda Strickland; and her special mother-in-law, Helen Knoebel.
