            Mr. Monte Carson Cooper passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Shiloh, Alabama. He was 64.

            Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1 pm and continuing until service time.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.

            Mr. Cooper was born August 28, 1948 in Coffee County, AL to the late Joseph and Helen Mayo Cooper.

            Survivors include one son Monte Carson Cooper, Jr., Centerville, FL; five brothers: Michael Cooper, New Brockton, AL, Harold Cooper, Enterprise, AL, Gaston Cooper, Apopka, FL, Joel Cooper, Astatula, FL, Tim Cooper, Kinston, AL; two sisters: Frances Stephenson, Opp, AL, Jean Wolfe, Enterprise, AL; one grandchild, Monte Carson Cooper III, numerous nieces and nephews.
