Obituary: Mr. Barry Lee Wilson

 

Mr. Barry Lee Wilson of Hartford went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 1, 2018 after a short battle with cancer.  He was 56. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Steve Etheridge officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. 

Mr. Wilson was born October 11, 1962 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Esther Mae Huntley Wilson and Orland Lavan Wilson.  Barry was a devoted servant of Christ and an active member of Faith Full Gospel Church in Hartford. 

Barry was preceded in death by his grandparents: Orland Jay and Vialeeta Laurence Wilson and John Furman and Odell Littrell Huntley. 

Survivors include daughters: Destini LeAnn Wilson Terry (Steven Bryan) and Jazlyn Grace Wilson; grandchildren: Iveelyn Mae Terry and Ryeelyn LahRene Terry; mother, Esther Wilson, father, Lavan Wilson; siblings: Diane Boyette (David), Larry Wilson (Dagmar), and Beth Reid (Scott); nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
