Mr. Benjamin Franklin “Frank” Wilkerson, 81, a resident of Skipperville, Alabama, died Monday morning, April 27, 2020, in Southeast Health Medical Center.

Mr. Wilkerson was born April 15, 1939 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Bennie and Minnie Lenard Wilkinson. He worked in the logging industry for many years, was employed with Kennie’s Truck Stop in Brundidge and shucked oysters at the Ice House in Ozark.  He loved to go fishing.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Franklin Wilkerson; two sisters, Lallie Marie Herring and Eulala Fuqua; and two brothers, Buddy Wilkerson and Marrell Wilkerson.


Survivors include two sisters, Vallie Mae Beggs of Leesburg, Florida and Velma Wilson of Pocahontas, Arkansas; two brothers, Noel Wilkinson of Ozark, Jim and Rosie Wilkerson of Eustis, Florida.  Several  nieces and nephews also survive.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elam Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 105 Wyman Street, Enterprise, Alabama  36330.
