MIDLAND CITY…Mr. Billy Norris Hogue, a resident of Midland City, died late Sunday evening, April 24, 2022, in a Dothan nursing home. He was 81.


            In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Hogue, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            Mr. Hogue, son of the late Odell Alec Hogue and Elsie Mae Mosley Hogue, was a native of San Antonio, Texas. He served his country in the United States Navy and moved to Dothan in the 1970’s. Mr. Hogue worked at Turf Maintenance in Ozark and enjoyed working on small engines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lee Hogue; a son, Michael Hogue; two brothers, Franklin Odell Hogue and Edward Dee Hogue.


            Surviving relatives include a son, Billy Odell Hogue, Oklahoma; three sister, Beverly Turner, Ft. Worth, TX, Glenda Jane Goains, Weatherford, TX and Patricia Ann Johnson (Allen), Benbrook, TX; his caregiver, Desiree Thomas and Aaron Green, Wicksburg Community.
