 Billy Wayne Hataway, a resident of Ashford, Alabama died Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his residence. He was 91.

Graveside services for Mr. Hataway will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Enterprise Baptist Church cemetery with Bro. David Baker officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.

Mr. Hataway was born June 20, 1932 in Kinston, Alabama to the late Ellis T. and Nellie Mae Fuller Hataway. He was raised in Polk County, Florida but has resided in Ashford for 60 years. Mr. Hataway was a propane delivery driver for Amerigas, was engaged in farming and an over the road truck driver. His hobbies included fishing, making cane syrup and working in his garden.

Mr. Hataway is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billie Joyce Hataway; daughter, Vicki Hataway Traylor; brother, Jim Hataway.

Survivors include his son, Steve and Tammy Hataway; grandchildren, Jonathan Hataway, Leah Bradley and Chris Hataway; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
