Mr. Bobby Joe Shaw, Sr.,  a resident of Ozark, died Monday, August 9, 2021, at his home. He was 77 years old.

A private memorial service for Mr. Shaw will be held at a later date. However, condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com   

Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark will be handling the arrangements.

Mr. Shaw was born July 24, 1944 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Robert Lee Shaw and Nettie Lee Thomas Shaw. He attended Carroll High School in Ozark and married Janice Maund in September 1962.  Mr. Shaw worked with B. C. Moore in Wetumpka, Alabama and later became an over-road truck driver.   Bobby was a member and Deacon at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Ozark.  He cherished his children, grandchildren and his fur-baby, Maddie.  Mr. Shaw enjoyed hunting and fishing.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Janice Maund Shaw.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Shaw of Ozark; two sons, Bobby Joe Shaw Jr. (Cheri) of Blackwoods and Scotty Shaw (Annie) of Ozark;  his grandchildren, Jennifer Nicole Thomas, Blaisha Rena Shaw, Jayci Brianne Dankert and Lily Margaret Shaw; one sister, Patricia Shaw (Chuck) of Ozark; one brother, Robert Lee Shaw, Jr. (Sherry) of  Troy.
